Are you ok with others being wrong about you? Do you overthink what other’s words mean? Do you need to prove what is right and true?

Do you imagine a worst-case scenario? Do you overthink so much and then sometimes binge or over drink because of it?

Sometimes there are people who, for whatever reason they have, will tell a lie about you.

Perhaps it’s so they look better to others and think they will fit in more?

Perhaps they want love and attention?

Perhaps it’s because they think others will like and love them more?

Perhaps it’s because they feel insecure about themselves they need to tear someone down to build themselves up?

Listen, whatever the reason anyone lies about you, or does ANYTHING not kind, please know IT IS NEVER ABOUT YOU. IT IS ALWAYS ONLY ABOUT THEM.

And it surely is NOT a reason to overeat, overdrink, or waste any mental real estate thinking about why they did it.

Everyone is coming from their own place and space. We never know what is in someone’s own mind. Whether it’s unstable mental health, or going through their own life’s struggles, we just never know.

So to try and figure out what’s up with them is a waste of your time.

When we are on a path of growth and evolution, the last thing we want to do is overthink other’s actions. Even if it “feels” like it’s against or even about us.

You can choose for yourself to process lovingly through whatever emotion comes up for you and then take a moment to reframe your mindset about what they said or did. This is called self-care.

Seriously folks, there are all kinds out there. Everyone is trying to survive. Everyone wants to be loved.

Stay the course. You get to choose what YOU do. YOU do not need to be thrown off track because of some silly obstacle. It’s a momentary blip and there is no need to choose to buy into it.

Have you ever encountered this? How did you practice self-care?

I am VERY ok with people being wrong about me. What about you?

I would love to chat with you more about your experience with this. Please feel free to schedule a FREE 45-minute mini-session with me at this link: https://calendly.com/lisachristycalendar/free45minuteminisession

I love helping others up level their life and learn how to tackle their obstacles in a more self-loving and growing way. This is one of the many reasons I genuinely and to my core, love being a Life Coach.
