“Getting back on track” sounds like a lot of drama. Sounds VERY serious. Sounds like you were wayyyy off course.

Especially after a weekend.

“I went off my food plan this weekend, because……………..(insert 1,000+ excuses here)”.

“I over-“whatever” yesterday and now I feel horrible about myself!”

Friends, you’re never off track. Nothing has changed. Don’t make it such a big deal. Nothing wrong has happened.

You just, perhaps, made a choice that wasn’t aligned with your path.

You, out of a moment of not thinking deliberately, made a choice you really didn’t want.

You, unconsciously, ate or drank when you weren’t even hungry or when you were feeling uncomfortable.

Unconscious choices can, over time, take us a bit further away from the results we would like. BUT we are still NEVER OFF TRACK.

Choosing something when we didn’t plan it can mean we were feeling something, and were not acknowledging or processing that feeling. It can be a good feeling or a bad feeling. Usually it’s a negative feeling, though. No matter what, nothing horrible is going on.

You are ALWAYS on track. And the reason you ARE is because all of the unconscious choices, all of the “few steps back”, all of the things we do that prevent us from reaching our goals ARE ACTUALLY PART OF THE PROCESS.

Your journey towards whatever result you would like is never about self-bashing and saying hurtful words to yourself. That would be a slow, painful journey. If it is how you’ve done it, you must make a change NOW.

Your journey can be beautiful and gentle. Your journey will be about your fails and bad choices. Your journey will be about little wins and big wins.

Everything you choose IS part of your journey to any goal you want.

In this moment, you can CHOOSE to be kind and loving to yourself. You, your brain, and your choices are the only things that WILL GET YOU TO YOUR GOAL.

Why not be kind to yourself along the way? The journey will be so much sweeter.

I can help you.
